Former Lithuanian national football team strategist Csaba Laszlo is not very sought after in the market. The 49-year-old football specialist is still looking for a club where he could lead a team. Earlier, there were reports in the media that he was interested in the possibility of returning to Scotland.
However, the Hungarian's promises did not impress Inverness' Caledonian Thistle.
Now, according to shropshirestar.com, Cs. Laszlo is interested in working with the "Shrewsbury Town" team. The club, who compete in the third tier of the English championship, is looking for an interim coach.
"Shrewsbury Town" manager Roland Wycherley confirmed that more than 50 coaches and agents have contacted the club who would like to replace Graham Turner.
Csaba Laszlo achieved only two victories with the Lithuanian national team in sixteen official matches. Both were achieved in matches against Liechtenstein. Before the end of the World Cup qualifying tournament, the Lithuanian Football Federation dismissed the strategist. He was replaced by Igoris Pankratjevas.
