On Saturday, six matches of the XXV round of the French "Ligue 1" championship were played.
The victory was achieved by the second-placed team "Monaco", who defeated the resistance of the "Bastia" team.
Defender James Rodriguez scored two goals in the 45th and 77th minutes.
"Reims" club climbed to 5th place, narrowly defeating the "Bordeaux" team, while "Toulouse" won 3-1 away against "Lorient".
"Rennes" and "Montpellier" teams played to a 2-2 draw.
The remaining three round matches will be played on Sunday, including the central match between "Saint-Etienne" and "Marseille" clubs.
