Halfway through the season, the Croatian Luka Peričius, who played for the Vilnius City Football League team "Žalgiris," will continue his career at the "Ostersunds" club.
The new defender's team, competing in the second tier of the Swedish league, announced on Monday that they have reached an agreement with the 26-year-old footballer.
Playing for "Žalgiris" since 2011, the Croatian became a free agent at the end of last season.
Representing the green and white colors, L. Peričius won all the titles in Lithuania, wearing the "Žalgiris" shirt in 88 matches over three years.
According to the team's coach, Graham Potter, the defender who has already joined the "Ostersunds" club will be a great asset to the Swedish team, benefiting from the Croatian's experience in recent years in the Europa League qualification matches.
The Vilnius City Football League team "Žalgiris" thanks L. Peričius for his contribution to the team's victories and wishes him success in the future.
