In the summer, the champions of Italy will visit Australia.
The Turin club "Juventus" officially announced that on August 10 of this year, in Sydney, they will face off against the team of stars from the "A-League" championship.
It is no secret that Alessandro Del Piero, who spent 19 years in the "Juventus" club before joining the "Sydney" team in the summer of 2012, will play against his former teammates.
At a press conference specially organized for this event, Francesco Calvo, the commercial director of the "Juventus" club, pointed out that the Australians will have a rare opportunity to test their skills against an elite European team.
“To host a club of the caliber of 'Juventus' in Sydney is a huge achievement for Australian football,” said F. Calvo. “Of the 24 players in the 'Juventus' team, 16 can participate in this year's World Cup and represent 8 different countries.”
“People will have the opportunity to see a showdown between the most powerful 'A-League' footballers and a squad of players who have earned international recognition,” said F. Calvo.
