"Bayern" goalkeeper Manuel Neuer claims that before stopping Mesut Ozil's penalty, he knew which way the German would kick the ball.
Yesterday the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 was played between "Bayern" and London's "Arsenal" clubs, with the visitors from Germany celebrating a 0-2 victory.
At the beginning of the match, M.Ozil could have taken the "gunners" ahead, but failed to convert the 11-meter penalty.
"I knew which way Mesut Ozil would kick," Neuer told UEFA's website. "I also knew that he would think long about which way to take the penalty, so I didn't hesitate and saved the ball."
"After this victory in the return match, we shouldn't relax, because the fight is not over yet," added one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
