On Friday evening, the XXVIth round of the French "Ligue 1" championship match took a dramatic turn.
At home, Monaco's footballers defeated Reims by a score of 3-2 at the very end of the match.
The hosts took the lead twice with goals from Valere Germain and Jeremy Toulalan, but Prince Oniangue equalized the score twice.
In the 84th minute, Reims defender Aissa Mandi was sent off the field, and at the end of the match, Layvin Kurzawa took advantage of the numerical advantage and secured the victory for the home team.
After this victory, Monaco's club is now two points behind the leading Paris St. Germain footballers.
