Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke" striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar believes in the team's chances of beating Madrid's "Real" club.
The Dutchman thinks that the "Bundesliga" team can surprise football fans and surpass the barrier of the round of 16.
"Madrid's Real" are the favorites, but we play the first match at home and we will step onto the field with a fighting spirit," said Huntelaar.
"Beating the royal club is possible. However, they remain favorites to win not only this match, but also the Champions League," the striker said.
"I am looking forward to playing against Real. It is a great club with amazing people."
K.J. Huntelaar has previously defended the colors of "Los Merengues". In the 2008-2009 season, in 20 matches wearing the "Real" shirt, the Dutchman scored 8 goals.
