London's "Arsenal" club has reached an agreement with experienced midfielder Tomas Rosicky regarding the terms of a new contract.
The 33-year-old footballer's contract with the team expires next summer, but club strategist Arsene Wenger announced that we will see the Czech with the "gunners" jersey next season.
In Saturday's match, which was his 26th appearance this season in all competitions, "Arsenal" defeated "Sunderland" with a score of 4 - 1, and the excellent performance by T. Rosicky was highlighted by a goal.
"T. Rosicky will stay at the club. We have reached an agreement with him, which should be announced soon. I am firmly convinced that we must keep him," said the coach.
"When Tomas arrived at the club, he was a very attacking player. Now he is a true conductor on the field, as he has improved tactically over time. T. Rosicky is an important player for the team."
The Czech transferred to "Arsenal" in 2006 from Dortmund's "Borussia" team, costing the "gunners" 10 million euros.
