Grandiose football event, which was supposed to announce the start of the football season in Lithuania, will not take place. Vitor Baia, Nuno Gomes, Mateja Kezman, Hernan Crespo and Jose Luis Chilavert will not come to our country.
Due to low interest, the organizers have decided to refund the audience for the tickets, as stated in the official announcement.
We apologize, but unfortunately we have to announce the unpleasant news - the "Football Day 2014" event, which was supposed to shake the Kaunas "Zalgiris" arena on March 1, is cancelled.
Until the last minute, we tried to do everything to make the event happen. Unfortunately, due to low audience interest in this event, we are forced to give up the idea of bringing well-known former World footballers to Lithuania.
All money spent by the audience on tickets will be refunded. This can be done at the nearest "Bilietai.lt" ticket distribution point.
We thank all participants, all sports enthusiasts for their understanding and we suggest not to be discouraged - football in Lithuania will continue to strengthen.
We apologize to everyone for the inconvenience caused and ask for help in spreading information about the cancellation of the "Football Day 2014" event to ticket holders.
