Liverpool's "Everton" team's rented defender from "Barcelona", Gerard Deulofeu, says that after the season ends, he wants to return to Spain.
The 19-year-old footballer was loaned to the Toffees for one season by the Catalan club, but there were talks that "Everton" would have the option to extend the loan agreement for another year.
However, the player himself expressed his desire to return to the ranks of "Barcelona": "I am working hard to be able to return to Spain. I watch every Barcelona match and think they are doing quite well."
"My dream is to find a place in the attack of the Catalan team. I accepted this challenge in the summer and do not regret my decision. I am now more mature as a person and as a footballer," he added.
"Maybe people from the Barcelona club don't believe in me, but that's normal. I am a young player, and coaches are not always willing to trust young players," G. Deulofeu said.
This season, the Spaniard played 18 games for Everton, starting in only 5 of them.
