On Wednesday, the first friendly matches of the Lithuanian national team in 2014 were played in Turkey, where a peaceful game was played against Kazakhstan.

Under the leadership of Igor Pankratjevas at the "Mardan" stadium, the national team had an advantage at the beginning of the match, but the opponents from the East managed to equalize, 1-1.

The first half began with Lithuanian dominance. From the very first minute, the ball was controlled in the opponents' half, and in the 4th minute Gediminas Vičius scored a goal after a corner kick by Mindaugas Kalonas.

After the goal, the game became balanced and both teams did not have many dangerous opportunities, although the Kazakhs later tried several times to beat Giedrius Arlauskis from afar, but unsuccessfully.

In the remaining 45 minutes, we did not see very attacking football, and Kazakhstan's players continued to try to equalize the score.

In the 69th minute, the opponents managed to achieve their goal and Nurbolas Zhumaskaliyevas scored after a precise pass from the edge.

Throughout the rest of the time, the Kazakhs continued to control the ball on the pitch. The Lithuanians had several opportunities to score after counterattacks, but the final result remained 1-1.
