France's footballers easily defeated the Netherlands 2:0 at home. Karim Benzema scored in the 32nd minute, and Blaise Matuidi in the 41st minute.

France had many chances to score goals, and the result in the first half could have been at least 3:0, but they did not convert all their opportunities.

Spain defeated Italy 1:0, and Portugal crushed Cameroon 5:1.
