London's "Chelsea" team strategist Jose Mourinho believes that the English national team can win the World Cup.
Football analysts and betting companies do not predict high achievements for the English in the upcoming world championships in Brazil, but the 51-year-old strategist has a different opinion.
"England? Everyone repeats: "no, no, no, no, no", and I ask - "why not?". Because I don't understand it," - said the Portuguese about the possibilities of the English national team.
"When I see what players represent the team and in which clubs they play, I don't see why the English national team couldn't triumph one day."
"They know how to play high-level football, they play in the Champions League, so I don't understand why they can't win. One day the English will do it," - said J. Mourinho.
The English national team has been placed in Group D at the World Cup, where they will meet with Italian, Uruguayan, and Costa Rican footballers.
