The coach of "Manchester United", defending the title of the "Premier" League, David Moyes, decided to write an open letter to the dissatisfied fans of the team. In it, the Scotsman admitted that his debut at the helm of the "Red Devils" was going very badly, thanked for the patience and fantastic support.

"I knew this job would be tough when I took it, but the season we are playing was not in my plans, I completely understand that the fans didn't expect this either. Players, team staff, and I hope to improve.

You're used to seeing a winning "Manchester United", and your support this season is unbelievable. The passionate fans traveling with us to away games are still the best in the country, and in the stands of "Old Trafford" – incredible.

Supporting your team when they are winning is easy, but it becomes much harder when things go differently. Your loyalty this season is amazing," writes D.Moyes.

Fans have reasons to be angry. "Manchester United" has already exited both cup tournaments in England, and in the "Premier" League, they are only seventh. With 11 matches left until the end of the season, trailing by 12 points behind "Manchester City" in fourth place and having played fewer matches.

Things are not going any better in the UEFA Champions League. Although "Manchester United" were first in their group, they lost 0-2 to "Olympiakos" in the first leg of the round of 16 in Greece and complicated their chances to progress.

"Everything we are experiencing now will make us a better and stronger club in the future. Year after year, this team has been winning and I have no doubt that soon you will see the same again," concluded D.Moyes.
