One of the clubs from the English Premier League has made an offer to acquire defender Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid, says the football player's agent.

The Spaniard's contract with the royal club will expire in two and a half years, but negotiations about extending the contract have not yet been discussed.

Sergio Ramos' brother and agent, Rene Ramos, revealed that Real Madrid turned down a massive sum of money from an English club, but did not disclose which one.

"I will only say that it is an English team. The offer is huge in economic terms, but we are in the club where we want to be. In the best in the world," said the agent.

"That's why I had to repeat several times: thank you for the offer, but we will reject it. It is not worth talking about Ramos leaving," said the football player's representative.

The Spaniard has been defending the colors of Real Madrid since 2005, when he was acquired from the club Sevilla for 27 million euros.
