Munich's "Bayern" club defender Arjen Robben revealed that he rejected an offer from Turin's "Juventus" team.
The Dutchman insists that the Italian champions wanted to see him wearing the "Bianconeri" shirt in the summer of 2012, but the footballer rejected the offer.
"By rejecting the offer from Juventus, I did not want to offend them. I feel happy at Bayern club, so the transfer did not happen.
"Juventus" is a great club and it is always pleasant when a team of such level is interested in you. I was straightforward and answered that I felt honored, but I declined the offer.
They assured me that the doors are always open for me. In the past, several Italian clubs were interested in me, but I always had clubs where I felt good," - stated the 30-year-old player.
This season, A. Robben is playing excellently: in 19 matches of the Bundesliga, the Dutchman scored 10 goals and made 6 assists.
The player has a contract with the club until the summer of 2015, but it is reported that the contract is soon to be extended for another two years.
