On Tuesday evening, two second leg matches of the UEFA Champions League were played, where the first participants of the quarterfinals were determined.

At the Allianz Arena in Munich, Bayern faced Arsenal from London. The match ended in a draw, but Bayern advanced to the next stage since they defeated their opponents 0-2 in the first leg.

Both goals were scored in the second half. In the 55th minute, Franck Ribery made an accurate pass to Bastian Schweinsteiger, who took advantage of the opportunity to put the hosts ahead.

Despite Pep Guardiola's team dominating throughout the match, Arsenal soon managed to equalize. Two minutes later, Lukas Podolski took the ball near the penalty area from Philipp Lahm and scored a great goal past Manuel Neuer.

After the goal, Arsenal players improved their game and started to attack more, but the German champions were able to respond. The final result remained 1-1, although in extra time Thomas Muller had a chance to snatch victory from the penalty spot.

In the other match, Madrid's Atletico celebrated a convincing 4-1 victory over Milan. Diego Simeone's team eliminated the last Italian club in the tournament.

In the first match, Atletico celebrated a minimal victory, and today Diego Costa, Arda Turan, and Raul Garcia contributed to the victory. Kaka brought back intrigue in the 27th minute, but the hosts did not falter.
