On the BBC website it is written that Uli Hoeness, the president of "Bayern" Munich, is accused of tax evasion and faces criminal liability.

This week in Germany, a trial took place where the 62-year-old leader of European champions admitted to hiding taxes that could amount to around 18 million euros.

U.Hoeness could even end up in prison, with a sentence of up to 10 years of imprisonment. The German himself regretted to the court for his dirty deeds.

"I will do everything to ensure that this improper decision in my life chapter is closed," said the former world champion.

It is worth mentioning that last December, a similar punishment was received by the president of the Spanish club "Sevilla," Jose Maria del Nido, who was sentenced to 7 years in prison for corruption.
