After a triumphant performance in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino claims that the team is in great physical shape.
Yesterday, the Catalan team once again defeated Manchester City and advanced to the quarterfinals with an aggregate score of 4-1, and after the match, the Argentine stated that they can beat any team.
"We won against a very strong opponent. We proved our superiority both as a team and individually, and by playing like that, we can defeat anyone," the coach said.
"I think the match was good for us. There were moments when we completely dominated the field. We knew that Man City would attack a lot and it certainly wasn't easy for us," added G. Martino.
It is worth mentioning that the draw for the Champions League quarterfinals will take place on March 21st.
