On a rainy Saturday in Lithuania, the 2nd round of the "SMScredit.lt A League" began, featuring two matches.
In Klaipėda, the city derby took place between "Atlantas" and "Klaipėdos Granitas". After a fierce battle, a draw was recorded.
The Lithuanian vice-champions gained a two-goal advantage in the first half. The first goal was scored by Donatas Kazlauskas, and Ovidijus Verbickas increased the lead in the 30th minute.
However, the newcomers of the A League did not give up. At the beginning of the second half, Robertas Poškus softened the result, and Tamazi Chargeishvili scored the equalizing goal.
In the other match, Gargždai's "Banga" defeated the league debutant "Trakai" with a minimal difference in front of their own fans.
