On Sunday afternoon, two breathtaking matches will be played in the English Premier League.
The first one is the clash between eternal rivals Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford stadium.
Right from the start of the match, Brendan Rodgers' team looked superior, but they managed to score only in the 34th minute when Steven Gerrard converted a penalty kick.
Immediately after the break, another penalty was awarded against David De Gea, which once again was successfully converted by the Liverpool captain.
Not enough, in the 77th minute Nemanja Vidic was sent off the field, and a third penalty was awarded against D. De Gea. This time S. Gerrard hit the crossbar.
However, the visitors managed to score a third goal, when in the 84th minute Luis Suarez scored smoothly with the ball well controlled.
After this victory, Brendan Rodgers' team reduced the gap from Chelsea to 4 points. The "Reds" have played one less game.
In the other match at White Hart Lane stadium, the North London derby took place, where Tim Sherwood's Tottenham team faced Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.
Already in the second minute, the "Gunners" were led by veteran Tomas Rosicky, who sent the ball into the far corner of the goal defended by Hugo Lloris.
Later, the initiative was taken by the Spurs team, who tried to equalize the result throughout the match.
In the second half, Wojciech Szczesny made a couple of mistakes, but the opponents failed to send the ball into empty nets.
Arsene Wenger's team managed to maintain a minimal advantage and celebrate the victory, securing three points that reduced the gap from Chelsea players to 4 points.
Next Saturday, these teams will test their strength at Stamford Bridge stadium.
