"Arsenal" club strategist Arsene Wenger predicts a fierce end to the English championship.
On Sunday, the "Gunners" triumphed in the North London derby against "Tottenham" and are now four points behind the leading "Chelsea". On Saturday, they will face a match against Jose Mourinho's team.
"We wanted to return to the title race, and Chelsea's defeat, along with the victories of Liverpool and Manchester City, promise an even more interesting end to the championship," Wenger said.
"Even if we win all our remaining games, we are dependent on others, but if we continue our winning streak, everything will be in our hands," Wenger emphasized.
"Therefore, we need to focus on the matches, rest after them, and then wait for the next ones," he added.
The Frenchman also praised his players after the derby victory: "It was a very good day for us because we needed to win these matches, and we did it."
"The pressure from our opponents was good, but we managed to handle it. The players were focused, defended well, and posed a threat on counterattacks," Wenger explained.
"However, we didn't score a second goal, so we couldn't afford to make mistakes in defense," said the 64-year-old strategist.
Arsenal currently holds the third place with 62 points, having played one game less than Chelsea.
