Madrid "Real" goalkeeper Diego Lopez insists that he and Iker Casillas have friendly relations and do not have any problems with each other.
Returning to the "royal" club in winter 2013, D.Lopez is currently the main goalkeeper, while the team captain gets to play only in the King's Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
After D.Lopez surpassed his compatriot, rumors spread in the press that the relationship between the two footballers is not very friendly, but the former "Villarreal" player denies these rumors.
"My relationship with Iker is excellent. Over time, it can change, but not because of competition," said the 32-year-old footballer.
"I admire Casillas and I respect him very much. Both of us respect each other. I couldn't say a bad word about this goalkeeper," added D.Lopez.
