"Barcelona" left-back Jordi Alba insists before the "El Clasico" match that the team is in great physical shape, but does not see a clear favorite in this encounter.
The clash between Madrid's "Real" and "Barcelona" footballers will take place on Sunday at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium. These matches are particularly important for the Catalans, as a loss could mean losing hope of winning the "La Liga" title.
"Of course, we will aim for victory. We will fight with all our strength in the 'El Clasico', as we fully understand that this match could cost us the title. We are in good physical shape, but there will be no favorites in Madrid," said Alba at a press conference.
The defender also answered the most frequently asked question of these days: Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo?
"These players are the best in the world. For me, of course, I prefer Lionel, but everyone can see that Ronaldo is a true beast and he is the leader of 'Real'," Alba concluded.
In the Spanish championship, Carlo Ancelotti's team is in first place with 70 points, while "Barca" has 66 points and is in third place.
