On Friday, the 3rd round of the "SMScredit.lt A league" started in Lithuania, with two matches played.

There were surprises at the LFF stadium. League debutants "Trakai" held the Lithuanian champions Vilnius "Žalgiris" to a draw.

At the beginning of the match, Marek Zubo's protégés played excellently, taking the lead in the 8th minute after Jakub Wilk's accurate shot.

After the goal, the "Žalgiris" felt the pressure and in the 66th minute Yuri Mamaev equalized against Armantas Vitkauskas to help the team earn a point.

In other matches, Klaipėda's "Atlantas" and Gargždai's "Banga" also ended in draws, but neither team was able to score in this encounter.

Interestingly, in the second half, two players from Gargždai were sent off the field. They were Sergėjus Shevchukas and Aurelijus Staponka.

The leaders of the A league are still the players of "Žalgiris," but "Banga" also has the same number of points.
