London's "Arsenal" has once again shown interest in Leverkusen's "Bayer" and the German national team defender Lars Bender.

Reports in the English press suggest that Arsene Wenger is ready to make an offer to the 24-year-old German player this summer.

The "Gunners" tried to sign L. Bender last summer, but the German stayed with Leverkusen and extended his contract with the club until 2019 in October 2013.

However, Wenger is determined not to give up on acquiring the former "Munich" player, and the defender could cost the London club up to 25 million euros.

L. Bender has been playing for "Bayer" since 2009. During this time, he has played 163 matches and scored 14 goals.
