Real Madrid and Portugal's star Cristiano Ronaldo does not consider his national team as favorites to win the 2014 World Cup.
According to the 29-year-old footballer, in Brazil the most realistic contenders to triumph are one of the following national teams - Brazil, Argentina, Spain or Germany.
"I hope that we will perform well in the World Cup. Not much is expected from us, and the favorites are Brazil, Argentina, Spain and Germany," said C. Ronaldo.
Portugal's highest achievement in the World Cup was in 1966 when they finished third. Meanwhile, C. Ronaldo and Portugal were in fourth place in 2006.
One of the most impressive football tournaments in the world will begin on June 12 in Brazil.
