Bayern Munich's security guard Thiago Alcantara will be forced to watch the team's matches from the stands for a while.
The Spaniard will not be able to help the Bavarians in both UEFA Champions League quarter-final matches against the "Manchester United" team.
The guard suffered a knee injury in Saturday's German league match against the "Hoffenheim" team. The match ended in a 3-3 draw.
"This is very bad news. We will miss Thiago a lot," said coach Pep Guardiola about the player's injury.
The 22-year-old Spaniard has played 25 matches for Bayern this season, contributing 3 goals and 5 assists to the team's results.
