London's "Chelsea" strategist Jose Mourinho after the lost match in the English Premier League stated that they no longer have a chance to win the title.
"The Blues" lost away by a narrow margin to the "Crystal Palace" team yesterday. With 69 points, "Chelsea" is still at the top of the league table, but "Liverpool" (68 pts) has one game in hand, and "Man City" (67 pts) has two.
After the defeat, J. Mourinho added that the team played without motivation, while their opponents fought and deserved this victory.
"I think we have now lost any chance of competing for the top spot in the Premier League," said the Portuguese. "Now we are too dependent on other results."
"Today we lost three points against a team that was better than us in terms of motivation and mentality.
"Perhaps 'Crystal Palace' deserved this victory. We had opportunities in this match, but their goalkeeper played superbly," added the former Real Madrid manager.
