Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani is not satisfied with his situation in the team.
According to the Uruguayan, he is not happy with the tactical scheme used by Laurent Blanc, as it forces the striker to compete on the edge of the pitch.
"Will I stay in Paris next season? I will decide at the end of this season. I like it here, but there are things I would like to discuss with the club and that need to change," he said.
"It's not easy to adapt to the playing style. Playing alongside Thiago Silva or Zlatan Ibrahimovic is beneficial for every footballer. But a forward like me is not used to playing on the edge of the field. I am assigned more defensive duties, so it is not easy for me," Cavani said about his role on the field.
"I don't want to talk about sacrifice, because I always give my best on the field. But now I have more defensive duties and it is difficult, as before joining the club, I was assigned a different role," he explained.
"When I arrived in Paris, my vision was to play in a 4-4-2 scheme. It was one of the reasons that motivated me to join this club. Let's finish the season, then we will see what awaits me in the future," the striker said.
This season, E. Cavani has scored 18 goals in 26 matches with PSG. The club did not hesitate to pay €60 million to Napoli for this player.
