AC Milan acquired Cameroonian Pierre Wome. The defender stood out in the lineup last season, despite relegation to a lower division.
The reliable play of the Cameroonian immediately caught the eye of Inter coach Roberto Mancini. A contract was signed with the player for a year.
After finalizing the details of the transfer, Inter's technical manager Marco Branca confirmed that they had been interested in the 26-year-old Cameroonian for some time.
“Wome has been one of our main targets for several months. We are happy to acquire such a technical player,” Branca said on the official club website.
“Wome is a young defender with a lot of experience playing in Italy and the national team. He will fit in perfectly with Mancini's team,” Branca said on the club's official website.
