On Wednesday evening, two more quarter-final matches of the UEFA Champions League were played, with the hosts celebrating victories.
In Paris, the local team "Saint-Germain" faced London's "Chelsea". In a fierce battle, the winners were Laurent Blanc's players, who unexpectedly defeated the visitors with a score of 3-1.
The hosts forced their fans to rise from their seats already in the 4th minute, when PSG took the lead with a goal from Ezequiel Lavezzi.
However, the opponents from London managed to equalize in the 27th minute. Oscar convinced the referee to award a penalty, which Eden Hazard successfully converted.
In the second half, the battle began anew. In the 61st minute, David Luiz, playing in a defensive position, unfortunately scored an own goal, and Javier Pastore secured the decisive point in this match in extra time.
In the other match, Madrid's "Real" sweetly avenged the previous season to Dortmund's "Borussia", defeating them at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium with a score of 3-0.
There was also a quick goal in Madrid. In the 3rd minute, Gareth Bale scored after a precise pass from Daniel Carvajal.
After the goal, the "whites" did not relax, and in the middle of the first half, Isco doubled the score.
In the 57th minute, the last goal was scored by Cristiano Ronaldo, equaling Lionel Messi's record. This was already his 14th goal in this Champions League season.
The second leg matches between these four teams will take place on Tuesday, and the losing clubs will have a chance to retaliate at home.
