The London club "Tottenham" has started negotiations with the "Everton" team striker Romelu Lukaku, who is currently playing for "Chelsea".
The Belgian agent Christophe Henrotay revealed that "Spurs" chairman Daniel Levy contacted him and discussed the details of a possible transfer of the football player.
However, the agent also assured that the contact between him and the club was only one and that does not mean that R. Lukaku will move to the "Tottenham" ranks.
"I'm looking for Romelu's club. Yes, Levy called me, but that doesn't mean the player will end up at the Spurs club," the agent said.
"There are not even 20 clubs that could afford Lukaku. He won't go from Everton to Swansea. There is also a difference between Everton fighting to stay in the league and Everton aiming for a place in Europe," the agent said.
R. Lukaku has scored 12 times for Everton in the Premier League this season. "The Toffees" are currently in fifth place in the league table.
