The new head coach became George Burley. The former "Ipswich Town" coach signed a two-year contract with the Edinburgh team.
This summer, after the end of the season, Burley resigned from his coaching duties at "Derby County", and before becoming the coach of "Hearts", he turned down an offer from "Millwall". The new Edinburgh "Hearts" coach sees a bright future for the club.
"I am thrilled with everything related to the team and am as ambitious as Phil Anderton and Mr. Romanov," Burley said.
"I believe we will succeed here and am looking forward to the great support from many fans who are interested in 'Hearts'," George Burley said.
