Chelsea strategist Jose Mourinho claims that the fate of the team depends too much on other results.
The victory against Stoke City on Saturday allowed the aristocrats to temporarily rise to the top of the tournament table, but J. Mourinho reminds that the title fate does not depend on them.
"I repeat, our fate does not depend on us and never has. I waited for us to be at the top of the table and become the masters of our fate, but it did not happen. We are too dependent on other results."
"We will play against Liverpool, so we can win points from them, but we will not face Manchester City and everything is in the hands of the city team," said the 51-year-old strategist.
On Sunday, Liverpool team can return to the top of the tournament table by playing against West Ham United, while Man City club has two matches in reserve against Chelsea.
