On Sunday, the last two matches of the 6th round of the "SMScredit.lt A lyga" took place in Lithuania.
Gargzdai's "Banga" faced Alytus' "Dainava" in front of their own fans. The hosts secured a resounding victory with a score of 6-0.
In the first half, two goals were scored. The first goal was scored by Aurelija Staponka in the 12th minute, and Karolis Urbaitis increased the lead at the end of the half.
The next 45 minutes were even more productive. K. Urbaitis, Davydas Arlauskis, and Evaldas Grigaitis each scored a goal, with Grigaitis scoring twice.
In other matches, "Siauliai" celebrated a narrow victory against "Klaipeda Granitas" at home.
In the A lyga, "Banga" continues to hold the top position alongside Vilnius' "Zalgiris". Both clubs have 14 points each.
