German Christoph Metzelder asserts ahead of the return leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals that Madrid's "Real" will once again crush Dortmund's "Borussia".
Today in Dortmund, the second match between the Spanish and German vice-champions will take place. Last week, the "royal" club celebrated victory with a score of 3-0.
C. Metzelder does not underestimate the "Borussia" team and believes that only a secure start to the match can help them, otherwise defeat awaits.
"I think 'Borussia' will be ready for this clash and will try to create a great atmosphere where players can surpass themselves," said the former defender who has defended both clubs' jerseys in the past.
"It is very important for them to find the right balance, because otherwise 'Real' will punish them mercilessly. If the Spaniards score an early goal, 'Borussia' will be crushed," added the 33-year-old C. Metzelder.
