UEFA Champions League on Tuesday played two second-leg quarter-final matches, after which the first two clubs to advance to the semi-finals were revealed.

Both London and Dortmund lacked nerve-wracking battles. The hosts secured victories, but only one team received a ticket to the semi-finals of the Old Continent tournament.

At Stamford Bridge stadium, London's Chelsea sought revenge against Paris Saint-Germain. Sensationally, at the end of the match Jose Mourinho's students scored a second goal to triumph in front of their home crowd.

The first match between these teams ended with a 1-3 victory for PSG, so Chelsea had to win at least 2-0 at home.

In the first half, the "Blues" dominated and in the 32nd minute after David Luiz's pass, Andre Schurrle sent the ball into the opponent's goal.

Throughout the rest of the game, PSG failed to create anything impressive, but Chelsea managed to do so. Dramatically, in the 87th minute, substitute Demba Ba scored the decisive goal, which opened the doors to the semi-finals for the Chelsea club.

In other matches, drama was also not lacking. Dortmund's Borussia showed character at their home stadium and defeated Madrid's Real 2-0, but this result was not enough to eliminate the "Whites" from the Champions League.

At the beginning of the first half, the Real club could have scored all the points, but Angel Di Maria missed an 11-meter penalty, and Jurgen Klopp's students took advantage.

In the 24th minute, after a mistake by defender Pepe, Marco Reus beat Iker Casillas. The second goal did not have to wait long, and again taking advantage of the opponents' mistakes, M. Reus scored the second goal and made the Spanish vice-champions seriously worried.

For a long time, the Dortmund team pressed the visitors and had excellent chances to score a third goal, but in the second half, Real did not break, and at the end of the match, they also had a chance to score.

In Madrid, this match ended with a 3-0 victory for Real and the "yellow and blacks" lacked one goal for extra time, where the chances of both teams would have been equal.
