"Borussia" Dortmund announced on Wednesday afternoon the acquisition of forward Adrian Ramos.
The 28-year-old footballer from Berlin's "Hertha" team will move to Dortmund after the opening of the transfer window for players, replacing Robert Lewandowski who will be leaving for "Bayern."
Talks about the Colombian's move to Jurgen Klopp's team had been circulating for some time after R. Lewandowski announced he would be leaving the club.
The main candidate to replace the Polish striker immediately became Adrian Ramos, who has been demonstrating excellent form this season. In 29 matches in the Bundesliga, the forward scored 16 goals and made 7 assists.
"Borussia" sports director Michael Zorc said about the team's future attacking leader: "Ramos is a great footballer and one of the most productive players in Germany. He fits the club's standards and will integrate well into our team."
Last week, M. Zorc also stated that the team will be adding at least two more forwards next summer."
