On Wednesday evening, the last two second-leg quarter-final matches were played in the UEFA Champions League, after which all the participants of the semi-finals were revealed.

In the Champions League, Munich's Bayern managed to avoid a sensation and beat Manchester United players in front of their home crowd with a score of 3-1.

In the first half, no goals were scored, but the game was dominated on the Manchester United side. The Bavarians tried to break through the Man Utd defense, but unsuccessfully.

The next 45 minutes were more productive. Somewhat unexpectedly, Manchester fans were pleased in the 57th minute by Patrice Evra, who scored a powerful goal to put the visitors ahead.

Mario Mandžukić equalized the score just two minutes later, and in the 68th minute Thomas Muller crushed the hopes of Man Utd.

In the 76th minute, Arjen Robben secured victory after a great run, and with an overall score of 4-2, Josep Guardiola's troops advanced to the semi-finals.

There was no shortage of intrigue in the other matches. Atletico Madrid defeated Barcelona with a minimal margin in their own stadium and eliminated the Catalans from the tournament.

The 'Rojiblancos' team started the match powerfully, pressing their opponents from the first minutes. In the 5th minute, they managed to score the decisive goal, when Koke scored after a pass from Adriano.

In the first half, the score could have been even more overwhelming, but Atletico players missed some golden opportunities. In the second half, the hosts did not relax and advanced to the next stage with a 2-1 overall result.

The draw ceremony for the Champions League semi-finals will take place next Friday at 13:00 Lithuania time.
