Atletico Madrid prays for fate so that they would not have to play against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League semi-final match.
On Friday in Switzerland, the draw for the tournament will be conducted, which could be painful for the team from the Spanish capital.
The team's president Enrique Cerezo revealed that in such a case they would have to play without their main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
The Belgian is loaned from Chelsea and if they wanted to play against them, the Spaniards would have to pay 8 million pounds sterling.
"We cannot afford to pay such money," admitted Cerezo.
