The legend of the Brazilian national team, Pele, declared that in modern football he would choose to play for the team "Barcelona".

One of the most famous football players in the world at the age of 73, he played throughout his career for only two clubs. For 18 years, Pele wore the jersey of "Santos" and believes that "Barca" is similar to the Brazilian team of those years.

"If I had to play modern football, I would choose "Barcelona"," the former FIFA World Cup champion told "Time" magazine.

"I could play for two or three clubs, but now I would like to say that I would choose "Barca" because this team is most similar to my time at "Santos"," concluded the football legend.

Pele, who won the World Cup three times, ended his impressive football career in 1977.
