"Manchester City" club strategist Manuel Pellegrini criticized the playing style of London's "Chelsea" team before the match against "Liverpool".
According to the Chilean, a triumph of Jose Mourinho's team in the English Premier League would be a "disappointment for football".
This season, in 33 matches "Chelsea" scored 65 goals, while "Man City" and "Liverpool" respectively sent 84 and 90 goals into the opponent's net, so M. Pellegrini is convinced that the playing style of teams vying for the title should be more interesting.

"I'm not saying defense is unimportant. Football consists of both attack and defense, but big clubs should play like big clubs," - criticized M. Pellegrini towards the Chelsea team.
M. Pellegrini also criticized frequent statements by Brendan Rodgers and J. Mourinho that their teams cannot win the Premier League.
"That's not true. Maybe it's an excuse if they don't win the championship. But I don't think both coaches believe this is the real situation. Coaches are under a lot of pressure."
"I can't imagine this job without pressure. When you train strong teams, you want the opportunity to win the title."
"I don't know what their players think, but if I told my players that they have no pressure, I don't think that would work. I don't think that's how the players of Liverpool and Chelsea think," - said M. Pellegrini.
