"Arsenal" forward Sylvain Wiltord is ready to return to the field after a long break. The player himself mentioned that he would like to extend his contract with the club.
Wiltord has not played since December 2003 due to a heel injury. Now the Frenchman is able to play again and hopes to earn a spot in the national team and participate in the upcoming European Championship in Portugal this summer.
"It was very difficult to watch the games and not be able to help my team, but now I am ready to return to the field," said Sylvain.
Hinting that he would like to extend his contract, the Frenchman silenced rumors that he would leave the club next summer. The "Arsenal" forward has been linked with Paris Saint Germain.
"I have always said that I want to stay in the club, I feel very good here," denied the rumors Wiltord.
