On Tuesday evening, one round of matches from the English Premier League took place in London.
In the capital city derby at the Emirates Stadium, the footballers of Arsenal and West Ham United met.
As expected, the pace of the game was dictated by the "Gunners", but it was the team led by Arsene Wenger that first pulled the ball out of their own net. Matthew Jarvis scored in the 40th minute.
However, the hosts did not wait long to equalize - in the 44th minute, Lukas Podolski scored after a pass from Santi Cazorla.
In the second half, just 10 minutes in, Arsenal took the lead when Olivier Giroud skillfully stopped a high pass from Thomas Vermaelen and sent the ball into the West Ham goal.
Later, in the 78th minute of the match, L. Podolski scored again, making it easier for the players gathered in the stadium to breathe.
The final whistle declared the victory of the Arsenal footballers, which for a while allowed them to return to the fourth place in the league table.
