Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben and the Netherlands national team midfielder Robben recently stated that Louis Van Gaal's coached team needs the help of midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
Recently, Dutch coach warned Wesley Sneijder, who currently plays for Galatasaray, that his place in the national team is not guaranteed.
However, his teammate Arjen Robben is convinced that Sneijder can still bring a lot of benefits to the team.
"Wesley Sneijder is a very important player. I've already said this and it's no secret what I think about this situation."
"When Wesley demonstrates what he knows and is in good physical condition, he gives the team something more than others. We will need that at the World Cup," praised A.Robben his team mate.
"Sneijder is an extraordinary player when he is in his best form, so we must take advantage of that.
"I am his fan. We should not compare his current level with what he demonstrated four years ago. Many things have changed and we understand that, but he would still be useful for the Oranje game," said the Dutchman.
Wesley Sneijder has played 97 matches for the Netherlands national team and scored 26 goals.
