Gareth Bale, the security guard of Madrid's "Real" club, described the triumph in the "Copa del Rey" final as a "perfect night."
On Wednesday night at the "Mestalla" stadium in Valencia, the match between Madrid's "Real" and "Barcelona" ended with a victory for the royal club with a score of 2 - 1.
The impressive speed was demonstrated by G. Bale, who joined the team last summer, and his goal was crucial in this match.
"I had to sprint. Bartra pushed me and tried to block my path, so I had to go around him," Bale said.
"I am happy to have scored a goal, but it is even more enjoyable that the team won and secured the title. I believe we can continue our successful journey in other tournaments," said the 24-year-old footballer.
"The atmosphere at the stadium was great. It was a perfect night," Bale added.
"This victory is for the fans, and we hope it's just the first of many. We have worked hard for this with the whole team," concluded the leader of the Welsh national team.
In the Spanish championship, the "Real" team will face the players of "Real Valladolid" this Saturday away from home.
