Agent R.Wittman: "Schalke" is not planning to sell J.Draxler © EuroFootball.com

One of the most coveted summer purchases, Julian Draxler, may stay in the "Schalke" team in Gelsenkirchen.

According to the agent of the 20-year-old footballer, the German team is not planning to part ways with their leader, even though the London "Arsenal" offered an impressive amount in the winter.

"Why should the player leave a club that has only now created a strong team? I think they don't intend to part ways with the team leaders.

The club would be particularly weakened if Draxler or Jefferson Farfan were to leave. These footballers understand that the team is rebuilding and they are part of it," said Roger Wittman.

Meanwhile, "Schalke" president Clemens Torriesas also did not doubt the future of J. Draxler: "If nothing special happens - Julian will stay with us."

The young defender has been playing in the first team of Gelsenkirchen since 2011. During this time, the German played 144 matches and scored 26 goals.
