"Goal.com" sources inform that London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger has set his sights on "Manchester United" center-back Chris Smalling.
The Frenchman has already started thinking about summer plans and has put together a list of potential signings, among which is the English national team player.
For the 24-year-old C. Smalling, A. Wenger is willing to pay 12 million pounds, with the Englishman adding 52 thousand pounds to his pocket every week.
It is speculated in the press that "Gunners" may lose Bacary Sagna and Thomas Vermaelen in the summer, so the "Arsenal" strategist is forced to look for defenders.
C. Smalling joined "Man Utd" club in 2010. The former "Fulham" defender played 34 matches this season and scored two goals.
