The Professional Football Association (PFA) has announced six candidates who are competing for the title of English Player of the Year.
The list is dominated by "Liverpool" players in the leadership position. They are Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge, and Steven Gerrard.
Among the contenders are also "Manchester City" leader Yaya Toure, London's "Chelsea" winger Eden Hazard, and Adam Lallana, who has been shining at "Southampton" this season and has scored 10 goals against opponents.
It is almost certain that the Player of the Year will be awarded to "The Reds" forward L.Suarez, who has scored as many goals in 29 matches this season.
The Uruguayan will face competition from D.Sturridge (20 goals), Y.Toure (18 goals), E.Hazard (14 goals) and S.Gerrard (13 goals).
The PFA has also announced nominees for the Young Player of the Year award, which is given to a player aged 23 or younger. Among the names on this list are E.Hazard and D.Sturridge.
Contenders for the prestigious award also include Luke Shaw ("Southampton"), Aaron Ramsey ("Arsenal"), Raheem Sterling ("Liverpool") and Ross Barkley ("Everton").
